Alright... had a question and didn't know where else this could go, so I am putting it here, since I'm a ranger thats starting off. I saved up some money for a mask and some other stuff in shard, and I was just wondering if I should be worried about getting it all stolen on the way there. I am still 1st circle, and I don't have the novice title when I look at myself, but I still do if I type info (not sure if thats relevant, so I put it in). I used to play the game a while back, and I was never 100% sure on this subject. From what I recall, you couldn't steal or be stolen from at 1st circle unless you were a thief. Thanks for your time!

Novices have a grace period in which they cannot be stolen from. At some point they loose it. So even if you're a novice, but have been around for a bit, yes, you can be stolen from.

if you carry the coin in coppers and you don't stand around in one place longer than 2 seconds <i.e. use a travel script to get from here to there> you won't be stolen from.
As far as being a novice is concerned, if you have above a certain amount <i believe its around 3500>, you can be stolen from.
keep in mind if you go to shard, the shop that sells the masks is closed at night. Also, Shard coinage is in Dokoras, not kronars.

Also, see if maybe you can find an older ranger to escort you down there. That way you'll be safer yet; plus get some learning in on the way down. I'd offer, but up on Theren; but I'm sure there's many around Crossing that would help. Also, remember that there's ways you can tell if someone is truely a ranger (not that other guilds' members wouldn't honestly help you.. but there are some rascals that might take advantage of you).
