In an unfortunate accident with Pep walking the stary road...(not really but makes a good opening eh?)

A young tog wanders upon Pep as he is about to take his last breath.

The new and green Pep!

Pep is now a Tog and starting over.

Arrys,

Is that the one with the Ranger stalking prey? Or something similar? How much would you sell it for?

I haven't really fleshed out where I want to take this version of Pep. I pretty much put most of the intial TDPs into mentals and Reflex, so he might stay lighter for a while, until I can get a few circles under him.

I wish you would have mentioned that to me before you spent the TDP's. Buying mentals at lower skill levels is a bit of a waste. When you cain gain 2-3 entire ranks from a single mind lock (<10 ranks), what's the point? Even upwards of about 50 ranks, they move pretty quick even at only teens in mentals.

It's better to spend the TDP's on physicals ... strength for RT, burden and melee power, stamina for damage absorption and burden, agility for RT and armor hinderance reduction, reflex for defense enhancement, discipline (I see it as a hybrid mental/physical) for stun resistance ... to help your young character survive to see the higher ranks and circles (less time spent dead or getting healed means more time training). Save the significant mentals for later in life when the pulses get smaller and the ranks start coming more slowly.

Well considering I only have 12 in wisdom and intel, I figured that was good for now. All my stats are at least 10. I raised reflex to 12 and left agility, stamina and strength alone. Agility is a bit low at 10, but hey a few circles and I will be fine.

It's the exquisitely engraved CLaymore has a scene well wait let me run to vault.

>You get an exquisitely engraved claymore from inside a secure vault.

The center of the blade is engraved with amazing detail with a nightmarish hunting scene. Rangers and their companions fight strange twisted beasts of obvious malevolence. A fine etching reads, "Fall before me, foes of life and beauty!"

not anywhere I can weigh it seem to recall it was 2 or 4 stones lighter than the theren claymore same app.

THe stalking one is probably the Masterfully engraved claymore which weighs the same or a bit more than the theren claymore but has a bit better app as well.

As for price I paid 5 plat years ago but considering forged app better and lighter make me any offer or just take it off my hands.

If you wnat it we need to meet asap vacation starts tomorrow.

I'll give you 20 plat for that claymore. And I am referring to the youngin, not you, Arrys. Let him have it, I'll give him the 20 plat, he can put it towards a good forged one if he wants to take me up on the offer.

The references to the critters on that blade obviously mean Distorters or their ilk. Definitely something Krin would use. He hates distorters with a passion, the main reason he is so fervent about Shadow Clan and would likely not be too friendly to any members of the new Necromancer Guild.

roger krin I can make my own plats but thought a pep tog might also like the RP side of the blade.

There should be several around they were from an old fest but I saw them at a more recent one just before I left.

I bought it due to my races history but never get the time to train 2he so might as well pass it on.

Coin I got, thanks to some very nice gifts from folks from Plat (wait they said they didn't want me to leave but then gave me gifts?).

I'll give you the 5 plat or the 20 Krin offered whichever you feel is best. Yeah that claymore is awesome for Pep-tog smash bad-mans!

Oh and I found the look for the other claymore:

A masterfully engraved claymore
Look-The center of the blade is engraved with the image of a lone archer
stalking a stag in the deep forest. Fine etchings read, "Victory belongs to the patient.

It's up for auction from someone else.

Roanoke? Damn, you're in the DFW metroplex, then, right? Pam and I were on assignment there three years ago (North Richland Hills), been wanting to go back for a contract or two. If we're ever in the neighborhood, we'll look you up, eh? Dinner's on us. ;-)
