Well, I've found that blood wolves are great for working my 4-5 secondary weapons (70-90 ranks) but don't do anything for my primary, evasion, armor or skinning (all 110 or better, 126 evasion). When I get swarmed (which isn't often as I'm usually the only one there) I do get a mild hop on multi. I don't get skinning past learning without scraping all the pelts, but 90% of my peels are arranged perfects. I tried the snow reavers and soundly got "reaved" so I guess my question is should I be looking at nightreaver unyns to try and work my higher rank stuff? evasion-126 le-111 armor-112 parry-91 skinning-113

Thanks,

You can do little unyns, though I think, personally, you can hunt la'tamis ok with a small boost or so from some buffing spells. I start training evasion in la'tamis at around 90-100 with SOP, so if unyns aren't your think, you can give the la'tamis a try. Only problem might be the multi penalty, two la'tamis might tear you up pretty quick.

Granthor,
Have you tried your hand at Snow goblins? The first level of snow goblins are probably right up your alley, then they get progressively harder. Good hides, good jewels, and they make a heck of a mantle piece!!!

Well, I tried the gobbies, but it may have been the larger variety that I tried, as it was the ones you find right outside the end of the trail marker. I'll give the ones by the fissure a shot once I get back to the island. I had to run to crossing to help my son get a new char started :-)

The goblins by the fissure and those at the end of the trailmarker are both the same type--first tier. You may have been having trouble hitting them due to their high levels of parry skill. Be wary of swarms as well.

I think i started hunting La'tami with a little less skill than you with SOP so if your careful i would assume you could do the same. I think you need around the 120 range effective climbing to get to the "cliff top" but if you can get there they usually come in at a semi-slow, but steady rate and have good mana. being able to keep your climbing locked while you are hunting without really trying is always a nice perk as well. little unyns would definitely work, too but not as good as tamis IMO

It's been a few days for me. Almost ended up deployed to New Orleans, but that's for a different topic. All your suggestions have been noted and are greatly appreciated. I'll be in Cursings for a bit longer however to help the new kid out. Speaking of which, he tried paladin, went to barby, then tried priest...and now he came to the only place to be....an up and coming ranger hooah. :-)
