<<Anyone know where or what to hunt to gain some escaping experince?>> Dunno of any critter, but the Spiders/Dusk Ogres area near Haven can get you some escaping, just pick a room and dance in it until stuck.

But I'm also guessing you aren't so high circled they the critters would work you.
