So I'm starting to get a bit old on grass eels and am looking for the next challenge. I'm a circle 18 Ranger and am looking for the next level critter and where they are located. I can still lock on grass eels, but I'm just wondering where I should head next.

A lot of that would depend on... well, a lot of things. What are your ranks in weapons and defenses and do you use ranged or just melee, and do you really want to work multi or worry about it later? Since I do not know any of this, I will tell you what I did. After eels, I went to beisswurms. After them, I went to sand sprites in Ratha.

bloodwolves.

I kill unarmed animals 24 anlaen a day. And I am constantly plastered in blood and bile from skinning their still-warm corpses. This "connection to the natural world" is why I intuitively grasp Anmal Lore. Also, I can shoot bees.

Don't listen to vision, he isn't a REAL Ranger. :P

Bloodwolves would probably work also, but I would suggest getting higher with beisswurms or maybe even rockies first. Bloodwolves can work a number on people who can't be touched by eels if they get a couple on you.

Try wood trolls, grendels, cougars, or a step up would be
Bone wolves just south of Leth - after that Beiswurms

If you can handle grendals and wood trolls, You consider stepping up to dusk ogres. They seem to be a mid range step between wolves. They drop boxes too, so will work your disarm as well. Watch out for the spiders though.
