How much multi opponent do I need to start dancing with 3 caracals? My multi stopped locking dancing with 2 caracals at 215, and it's making my shield and parry lag since I am only evading now.

Also, how much multi opponent would I need to start dancing with 3 bristle backs? Can I start hunting them with just over 300 in evasion, and 240 longbow?

Thanks in advance,

Rizitel

I started dancing with 3 caracals with about 195 multi. But my evasion is alot higher then yours, and I dont use shield. As far as bristlebacks, you can hunt them with what you have now, but I would not try more then 2 as dance partners.

I'd like to stick caracals for a while longer, since it's a wonderful hunting area. So maybe 220 multi? It's going very slow at the moment.

Are you using block stop? 3 caracals will teach MO to the low/mid-300s IIRC. 2 should give you a lot more than 215.

Not using block stop, what would that do to improve my learning? Let me take a nicer beating?

<<<So maybe 220 multi?>>>

Are you asking about three peccs? Maybe. It would depend on your armors and parry too. Evasion wise youd be ok. Using a shield is completely different way of hunting for me, so I dont know. Harome or one of the other people with alot of shield might be able to answer you better. Sorry.

Leather is 252, shield and parry are both pretty close to that...they were way behind for quite a while, too.

But yeah, I just want to know when I can start trying the third, right now it doesn't work.

Mind explaining how block stop benefits my learning?

Thanks again,

There are 3 positions an enemy can occupy in regards to yourself:

Facing, flanking, and behind.

Block stop will move an enemy that's flanking you to behind you, giving you more MO penalty, but not as much as adding another critter. More penalty = harder = better learning. When you have 2 on you, use assess to see where they are, then use block stop to move one behind you. Block stop is your friend when it comes to learning MO.

Oh, also, you won't learn as well if you're dodging everything. Lower your evasion until you start parrying/shield blocking the attacks, and you'll learn better.

As far as the bristles go I was still getting hit dancing with two with 350 evasion and 210-215 multi. With a ton of reflex and a capped SOTT up, and SOP on.

But my parry always lagged behind.

Strange since with slightly lower multi but other stuff the same I can dance with two peccs block stopped forever, and can dance with 3 peccs straight up and take only the occasional minor hit over a few minute period. Parry is only around 250ish as well.

stance and whether you use a shield, parry, or both play into that a lot.

To compare. I have more evasion, and less multi (199) 42 reflex and agilty. 210 parry (my parry always lagged way behind by like 1/2 evasion). I can dance with 2 until locking and not get hit except for the stumble into better position hit. I dont use SOP. I never really tried three other then when they swarm and I shoot them as they advance. Once in a while, a third or fourth will get to melee before dying, but when they do, I seldom get hit hard. Other things to consider: I have 294 leather (body armor) I also use LC for hands. I know you use LC. Despite it being lighter, it cant be trained completely off (unless this changed?)I do use SOTT, HOL (I swear this gives you an agility boost) and WOTP. Maybe this may be something that WOTP is useful for?
