Can someone please tell me everything I need to know to enjoy hunting goblin riders?

What things suck about them, what things make them great (if any), what kind of ranks I would need in things. While training parry, do I need to keep a high amount of stance shield to avoid getting axed?

All that jazz.

Thanks.

I don't know the exact amounts, but I'd say roughly 500+ skill for them. They come riding in on boars, which can charge I believe, and they can still throw axes from a mounted position. Which isn't too bad if your up to skill in your evasion or shield. When you kill the boar and force them to dismount, however, it seems they get a huge throwing bonus if they chuck an axe at you immediately after they fall off. I've seen them nail even the best of hunters at that moment. And they do seem generally more accurate overall when dismounted. However, they don't have good perception at all.

My MM with 540 evasion still gets tagged by the goblins pretty regularly when they're throwing the axes. At melee he can parry a decent amount of their attacks though.
