What to hunt that will teach weapon, skinning, hiding, and defenses in the 60s?

And what boxes will teach a lowly disarm of 20 without getting me killed?

Thanks!

I cannot recall what you would want to hunt for your combats but I find that trollkin boxes work me decently in the mid 20's disarm/lockpicking.

Reavers should work well for combats in the 60s. They should work your skinning as well, but you'll probably not be able to get into the boxes until 30+ ranks.

I've got a barb with low 60s combats and low 40s disarm skills. He does very well in bone wolves. You might have to sneak up and kill a few *yads in the forest of night for boxes though.

The bone wolf tails weigh very little, and they swarm enough to lock his secondary skinning (55 ranks), but he trains 4 weapons. I know leth's a real pain in the rear (and even worse in Plat, where I've got this barb) but a 1/2 bundle of tails pays for a full heal at the auto-puff. This one is actually decent as far as what they heal and how many breaks they take. Do yourself a favor, depart, no one will find you in Leth :)

I've been using and giving out this website for a little while now. It's got a searchable critter database. It's pretty accurate and if something isn't, Juason wants folks to update it. Hope it helps.

Hanryu,

In your opinion what would you consider the best tanned leathers to have? Providing best protection?
