We are a contentious lot, we rangers, but I think we'd have to agree that the ranger guild has made great progress in the last year, thanks to Team Ranger. All those years of having no one mind the store has left many deep and all-but-overwhelming things to fix, and they are getting done. Thank you. -- Ranger Fengreve

I agree with Fengreve. As Rangers, we're not happy unless we're complaining about something. (Those of you with Naval experience, Krin, Nimmo, you know what I'm talkin about.) But, it's very easy to see that progress is being made.

New spells, Sniping/poaching, Zen Archery & Scouting changes coming 'soon'.... Man, I already loved bein a Ranger, but I'm near beside myself with the possibilities in store for us.

Folcwyn

P.S. I haven't even checked out the new library yet, but I'll do that 'soon'. ;)

Put mine on the pile, too. You promised us you would be taking us places we'd never been and enjoy the trip. With more than a few complaints along the way, we are seeing the first of hopefully many destinations and the trip is indeed looking good.

Kudos.

No go fix StW, please? <duck>

I can't say how amazingly impressed I am with the new foraging system. The complexity within the Enviroment rewrite and the Foraging system are just wonderful to behold. I've always wanted Terrain to be worth something in this game and these systems take a GIANT leap forward in that regard. The Terrain and Enviroment of DR have, for the most part, been completely untapped. The potential in them... well, for me, is just staggering to think about.

I'm very excited for the future of the guild in this regard, hell even for the game as a whole.

So a hearty well done out to Jent, Paklin, Raenek and Taiga.

Tusca

P.S. - There any other lurking GMs that worked on it that haven't been mentioned? Just so we know who all to thank. :)

I read much more than post, but would echo, that this latest effort on our collective behalfs merits a resounding "huzzah".

We are incredibly fortunate to have such dedicated and talented GM's working for us. This is a world that I get lost in, and the expanding dimensions add to the experience every day.

Playing for a dozen hours a week or so for a number of years now, and it still feels fresh.

I have every confidence that I'll be here as long again at least.

Thanks,

Balthea

Aye, even if you did hold me captive for 2 days...

This, like all things released by this team is well done and well supported. Suckers and gold stars should be given to all involved.

Can't wait to see what else you have in mind for us to forage.

Agreed! This system is awesome, and I can't wait to see the 9,900 open slots for items filled up!

Oh, and I want some of them to be equipment for bombs. I like bombs! drools

Foraging ranked twice and I've only played 2 hours since the new system has been out. Go Team Ranger, another touchdown!

I think the support you've been showing folks since the change is the most impressive part of this change to foraging. I think Jent has been having a very hard time not spamming 'PAFO', 'PAFO' onto the message boards though.

I about spewed Pepsi all over the screen at this one.

Too funny.

The work done on foraging is amazing. The effort to walk everyone through such a dramatic change was staggering.

That Jent didn't just PAFO'd the hell out of everyone in frustration at the doubts, whining, and complaints (mine included) boggles the mind.

That Paklin didn't just drown himself in a vat of brew instead of dealing with all those changes and tweaks is remarkable as well.

It's a hell of a thing. All of it. -- Ranger Fengreve

No doubt. It's almost worthy of a college thesis all in itself.

Actually, how do we know he didn't? Rumor has it he does his best coding work when tanked ...
