Hi Jent,

I feel I owe you an apology for the last few posts on the old message boards. I'm done for this year.

I don't see that ranger guild is in a bad way, in fact its in better shape now than ever thanks to the hard work of both the ranger team and one hard working newly appointed Barb Gm.

The under gondola area is fantastic for 40th level rangers+

BB on the surface seems to be a great spell.

That said I have found the last few months very frustrating to a point that I haven given up on learning survival skills.

We have had new disarm, scouting, climbing and first aid systems all of which has reduced my learning rate in these skills to all but a stand still.

After a coupe of packs of warrior and mages box's, 3 instance deaths and not much in the way of experience gain I'll leave the box's to thieves.

My first dose of disease/inflections told me not to play with bleeders on the islands where empaths are in short order. F/A is now for me consigned for me to bloodworms.

Scouting which has become an excellent RP tool is great but is by far the most frustrating system for me. I am at a loss on how to learn this skill without moving to mainland full time and using static trailmarkers and using PTM to track back to them which sort of makes it no better than the old system.

Climbing before the changes mind lock in the undergondola area , day after the change it went to learning.

And on the other hand we have the all new magic system that still allows me to ML Pm/Harness/Md with 5 mana casts within a few minutes.

Very frustrating....

Pay no heed, I feel old and grumpy these days.

Shan

PS Meatballs, I'm sure I left a few in here somewhere...
