My new favorite band (Thank you pandora/coper):
The Descendents - Album "Everything Sucks"
1970-80s teen angst oriented LA punk. its not hardcore so you can hear the words and catch the vibe without having to turn it off. They manage relatively complex instrumental action/athleticism/interesting changes within a very familiar, derivative song form...with the surprising and welcome benefit of pleasing melody and well written, sometimes heartfelt, sometimes clever, sometimes ridiculous lyrics all at once. My mind is officially blown.
After the first 10-12 seconds of each song (the intro to the first one may sound dumb to you, for example) i promise you will at least be happy you listened. These are classics.

Can I tell you how much I hate the auto-tuner on the vocals? Hot tip: if your singer needs an auto-tuner to sing in tune, perhaps you need another singer. And the "cool" factor of using the extreme settings of one to create the sound used in the video above began and ended with Cher's "Believe" in 1998.

Ya know whats even funnier. Their Tour Manager does backup vocals from a dark corner off the side of the stage. So not only are they bad vocals with bad effects... but when live, its two bad vocals with bad effects. Oh the trickery of the entertainment industry.
They sold booty shorts as part of their merch. Their fans were between the ages of 12-16. "LF: Morals" kplz.
