Need a nuzzle verb.

Nuzzle <peron>
Nuzzle <person> <face, ear, neck, etc.>

(Prydaen) Biff nizzles your ear softly, purring all the while.
(Mariage) Biff nuzzles your neck softly.

While I like the idea of the verb in a way, I'd certainly want a way to avoid it. And if not, I'd want consent if a cat person nuzzled me against my will.

Perhaps as a Prydaen marriage verb? I simply don't see Prydaens getting that snuggly with anyone other than their bonded anyway. If that.

In a post dated: 5/12/2004 I wrote;

"I think 'nuzzle' would be a more appropriate verb; but can't at the moment think of a really good example. Maybe something like: You nuzzle <other's> cheek (snout? muzzle? in moonskin) softly with your nose, showing your undying love and loyalty to him/her." In reference to Rakash marriage verbs.

You obviously have somehow not met many prydaen characters.

Not 'real' prydaens, anyway. Think about it: Do you see Darkensi getting touchy-feely with ANYONE? ;)

It was never said "REAL" prydaen's aren't affectionate creatures. Or maybe i haven't read my books well. They are picky about who they allow to touch them. To touch a Prydaen implies they know you and have allowed you to do so and its a privilege. TO touch them without permission is a insult. I'm pretty sure as with all races there exist degrees of how affectionate a individual of that race is.
