I bought a ticket for a GM assisted wedding for November and I'm trying to figure out what to do next. There are no dates for November yet. The wedding command says I need to pick a date within 2 weeks. There are open dates for October but only for Wednesday nights and we want a weekend wedding. Anyone else running into these problems?

That happens a lot when they sell out in advance, it just means that you have to wait for a November date. Trust me, they're understanding when it comes to things like that. I think we waited a month before choosing for our wedding. If not more....

Let's put it this way...you'll get your wedding form via email in 2-4 weeks. Then you can fill it out...it says you need it done in two weeks but you don't. You're wedding GM (who are WONDERFUL and really can make dreams come true) don't need a date til about the last week of October if you want it in the begining of the month or around two weeks before the date you want. Your items won't be completely agreed upon until 14-10 days before your desired date. These GMs are busy with all the weddings before you! You'll get the invitations at the time your GM okays the items. If you have a wedding date in November, don't bother thinking about it til October. And around October, the wedding dates you can pull IG will come out.

Please be VERY patient with you wedding GM! If you want an item, it's best to let them know what item you modelled it from (like, you want an armband that acts like the armbands you can buy in Shard that're verbed). Also, if you want any expensive materials, you need to present them upfront. Rare metals, pelts, gems, etc. And finally, if you have writing on it from a language, provide what language it is and the translation into English. The writting has to go through the language GURU!

One last thing. Your items have to go through QC. Don't be pissed off if something doesn't pass.

Hi, November confused-type person!

The reason that you don't see November dates is that we ask our wonderful host coordinators to sign up for dates that they know they'll be able to work. Sometimes they may not know in advance when they'll be available, especially with winter holidays and school starting now and such. Rest assured, November dates will get posted. And you don't need to choose a date before you turn your sheet in. (Sheets will be sent out in the next couple of days; I'm battling a sinus thing so bear with me.)

As another note, the name you see beside any given date is the name of the host coordinator, NOT the GM who will work with you on your items. The coordinator is there with the GM and you on your big day to answer any questions, deliver forgotten invitations, and generally make things run smoothly. So if you're hesitant to pick a date because you want to work with a specific GM, like Sashera, Dremara, Avrienne, or myself (another fabulous member is going public soon!), don't let that be a factor. Pick whatever's most convenient for you. And trust me - all our host coordinators are great. :)

If there is a specific GM you want to work with, let me know, and if scheduling permits we'll do our best to make that happen.

Hope that helps clear things up!
