Hey all just found this folder, got some questions id like to throw out there and see if any of you nice people can help me out... Thinking of getting the queens wedding package with the uhm assisted wedding option i think its called.

1) Can the items chosen be worn with armor? Do items have to be wearable it limited only to clothing (can you have a scepter or similar type item made?)

2) Is there a list of acceptable item types to use? I see that weapons and armor are not allowed, but does that mean all other item types are acceptable? Im wondering how items like instruments are viewed. Is there a master list of item types allowable?

2) What wear locations are acceptable to use? I was curious if the forehead location used by those magic forehead gems was an acceptable choice to design an item for. Not trying to get a magical item obviously, just curious if the wear location can be used. Is there a master wear location list we can choose from?

3) What rules regulate the pocketed items? i.e. pocketing pants vs pocketing a sack, how big will each be made? Is there a standard all items are normed against?

4) Can items be verbbed? if so how does this work, do i choose the verbs and messages? is there a standard verb sets to choose from? can they overlap with the pocketed items?

5) Are item descs governed by the same limit of LTB items? Curious so i can plan it out as much as possible before submitting it for review,

6) Is anything done to the wedding area to make it unique, like different foods, drinks, flowers, arrangements, tables etc whatever, or is the area standardized from one wedding to the next?

7) The faq says a gm will be on hand to make it special and such, will that be up to the gm to add at will, or can some sort of script be developed beforehand?

Thank you ver much for your time, any help would be greatly appreciated,

Imp

<1) Can the items chosen be worn with armor? Do items have to be wearable it limited only to clothing (can you have a scepter or similar type item made?)>

Yes. You get 20 items, 4 of which can be jewelry (metal and gems), four can have pockets (this means containers too! If you can find it storebought, they can make it into an item for you. For instance, I made a haversack that holds as much as the Aesry one). Scepters should be fine provided that they can't be used as a weapon.

<2) What wear locations are acceptable to use? I was curious if the forehead location used by those magic forehead gems was an acceptable choice to design an item for. Not trying to get a magical item obviously, just curious if the wear location can be used. Is there a master wear location list we can choose from?>

The forehead emerald is NOT storebought, so can not be used as a model. There can be no magical items (even storebought) created for you.

<3) What rules regulate the pocketed items? i.e. pocketing pants vs pocketing a sack, how big will each be made? Is there a standard all items are normed against?>

It all depends on what is used as the model for your item. If you get a pair of boots, and say you want it modeled off of the wolf clan boots, then the pockets are compareable. If you want a backpack based off of the ones in Crossing, then it'll be comparable.

<4) Can items be verbbed? if so how does this work, do i choose the verbs and messages? is there a standard verb sets to choose from? can they overlap with the pocketed items?>

Ah, verbs. Again, it depends on what is used for the model of your item. If you want a book made styled after the ones on Aesry, it will have the verbs that the books do there. If you want a feature hiding cloak like you can buy in Arthe, it will have those verbs. Same with spectacles and the jewelry from the temple in Shard.

<5) Are item descs governed by the same limit of LTB items? Curious so i can plan it out as much as possible before submitting it for review,>

TAP: 80 characters WITH spaces.
LOOK: 500 characters WITH spaces.
READ: 15 words

<6) Is anything done to the wedding area to make it unique, like different foods, drinks, flowers, arrangements, tables etc whatever, or is the area standardized from one wedding to the next?>

You have to design your flowers (you get around 5-7 slots), your wedding cake, chose the food, the games you want, etc.

<7) The faq says a gm will be on hand to make it special and such, will that be up to the gm to add at will, or can some sort of script be developed beforehand?>

Sashera or Tvini will be at the party and you also get a host/wedding coordinator. They'll hand out invites, take care of annoyances, provide atmosphere, hush people...etc.

Goodluck!

Yes, you can develop a script (the effect you want and how you want it to go) beforehand. I've seen some elaborate weddings where panthers and such walk down the aisle holding the rings, or the sky changes colors, or sprites fly through the area -- these are all GM-added effects.

If you have any special effects you want done, I'd recommend asking the GM prior to the wedding so they can create it for you and make sure it works.

::chuckle:: That brought back a few memories, Meghan. I still have a copy of Rock the Flower Girl, and I once attended a wedding where a gargoyle in a pretty pink dress was the flower girl!

Hi there, wanted to add a few things to what Myth posted. I've not only had GM weddings, I've performed quite a few as my cleric. I may rehash a few things Myth said, but there is additional information as well.

You get the options of the following (you don't have to do all these, but you can, if you wish):

1. Choose from a few specifically designed areas for your wedding. You don't get to customize the place, but they are all very beautiful.

2. Design 20 items. 4 can be jewelry items, 4 can be pocketed (this includes containers). No armor, weapons, or magical items. All worn items can be worn with armor, but they are not required to be wearable. Anything that is sold at a regular shop in game can be used as a 'template', this includes verbed items. They do put restrictions on the items.
a) Follow standard alterations guidelines.
1) 80 character TAP (this includes spaces)
2) 500 character LOOK (this includes spaces)
3) 15 word READ (this must make sense...you can't have a nose ring with a 15 word READ on it, but you could have a tag inside your cloak with 15 words on it.)
b) Nothing bloody or otherwise unfit for a wedding environment.
b) Nothing too 'risque', such as high heels, lingerie, etc.

3. Design flowers: you get to design 2 bouquets (1 for bride, one for maid of honor), 2 boutonierres (one for groom, one for best man).

4. Design your wedding cake.

5. Choose from a long list of foods as well as being able to custom design up to 5 foods if you wish.

6. Choose any games/special entertainment you wish, the wedding GM will let you know if your ideas are feasible.

7. Choose how your rosettes will LOOK (the tap is random and you cannot specify that).

8. Design your invitations as well as your pouch for the invitations.

9. Design the custom IG wedding announcement.

10. Working with a good experienced cleric and wedding GM, you can come up with certain 'special effects' for your wedding (be sure to ask your cleric and GM about this).

11. Design special 'entrances' for each member of your wedding party.

12. At least one wedding GM will be at your wedding at all times during the ceremony and the reception. Whichever one(s) is/are there, they will work very hard to ensure you have a wonderful occasion. Your wedding can be as monumental, beautiful, romantic or humorous as you and your spouse-to-be wish it.

~S.T., who is now thinking about maybe having another wedding just for the fun of it...

A question just popped into my head after reading about store-bought verbed items that are available for use in GM-assisted weddings: can the gowns from the 6th year Premium LTB store be used as a template?

That's not storebought, is it? No. Only STORE BOUGHT (from one of the fine stores located in the cities for ANYONE to get into (no premi, guild only shops either) items can be used. Shimmer scarves, feature hiding cloaks, verby jewelry, etc. That's all fine.
