Alright, I've read through the posts in this section and the survival-stealth section and haven't really found an answer to my current problem. First off, effective skills, no khri, are Hiding - 155, stalking - 148, backstab - 125.
My problem is this, I am still training hiding (slowly but training) and stalking (very well) in Marauders and "super" Wood Trolls in Theren. However, my backstabbing is training for crap. I haven't been able to get it to lock in forever it seems and at most I'm pulsing 2.5 - 3% of actual rank every pulse (for comparison I still pulse around 6% for stalking on non wall ranks) and thats for every single rank except walls. Am I doing something wrong? Hide, stalk, backstab is my setup like normal. Oh, and I consistantly hit for devastating/apocalyptic on both the rauders and woodies. Is it just time to move on? Or is there something here I'm not seeing?
There was a change to how much various critters teach stealth recently, which makes it a little hard to guess what's going on. That sounds more like a bug with learning stalking than anything else.
