Other than having obviously good stats for weapons (matching that of Lion claw daggers, forged short swords, and katars), do Fade weapons do any extra damage (backstab or otherwise)?

Fade weapons have exceptionally good stats, but they have no hidden or magical bonuses.

The Fade LE/LT is identical to a lion-claw dagger, but that was the only weapon I noticed that wasn't unique, stat-wise.

In many cases, they are better than forged. Like the katar. Good times.

Unfortunately, without doing a lot of compares, you don't really get a great idea of weapon stats via appraisal. Someday I'll publish my weapon compendium... as soon as I finish it.
