Has something happened recently with access to the Guild in Shard? I came back from a deployment and got back into game, and I cannot convince the guy to open the thing.

Did you forget your password? After knocking I just say it aloud and they let me in.
If you forgot your password (which I have in the past) you should be able to redo the entry puzzle to get it again.
