Does anyone know where I can purchase one? I've been watching the Trader shop in crossing for the past two weeks and have not seen one. I'd like to get a hold of one. My feed pouch doesn't do the same as the feedbags :(, I cant just give it to the caravan and let them eat out of it. If anyone has a spare to sell I'd be interested in buying it.

Yup, the trader shop has feed bags. As for the contracts- well, the interprov contracts are expensive. So what my little trader would to if she wanted to run interprovs was get an interprov contract, deliver it, trade in the other province for a plat or three, then get another interprov contract.

IP contracts: Don't trade ONLY in IP, but they are nice in combination with Outpost Trading.
In my notes/etc I use the abbreviations IP and OT. It makes it easier for me, not sure what the 'standard' is within the playerbase to differentiate between the different contracts (Leth contracts while trading in Zoluren, particularly if I have a Therengia IP contract, gets its very own 2 letter abbreviation)
For Example:
You're in Riverhaven, pick up an IP.
As you pass Dirge, pick up a contract.
When you pass Stone Clan, pick up a contract.
Same with Arthe Dale.
If the IP is to Crossing, I'd probably go ahead and drop it off, hit Tiger/Wolf Clans, then pick up a new IP as I pass back through Crossing.
If the IP is to Ilithi, I might skip Arthe (on the 20% chance it's to Dirge, I hate late contracts) depending on the time remaining on the IP. I try to get there at least 15% early, seems to be the highest profit/learning, though I haven't been collecting this data, unfortunately, to verify my observations. Basically, for every anlas on an IP, I try to have at least 5 minutes remaining before it's due. Closer to 10/anlas on the original contract if I can swing it without too much trouble is always a plus.
Point is, trade both simultaneously, once you can afford a caravan to hold it all.

Didn't realize that you could get in under fifth circle. Regardless my point remains. Not being able to buy from there until you're fifth circle isn't OOC, it's the guilds policy that you be experienced before buying there. Therefore there's no need to ask for an IC reason.

You can use a feed bag at 1st circle, that isn't the issue, the issue is that you can't buy one until 5th. Personally I don't think it's a huge deal unless you're trying to use XTrader at 1st circle or something. You don't need a feed bag to feed your caravan or pack animal, it just makes it more convenient. That being said I do think it would be nice if a basic version were available from the minister or something.

XTrader doesn't use a feedbag (I don't think)
