I'm not a trader and I don't play any traders, but I think it would be really really cool if trader shops had stock that transferred.
For example, if I go into APUs shop in Riverhaven, I can also see what he has for sale in the Crossing, and ORDER it and it will ship to my vault.
Or better yet, I can enter the market plaza anywhere and it is a separate instance that has all the shops from all the regions. (Think sea caves from the fallen and plat only with the trader markets) (insert in game RP reason this works, Moongate or whatever)
Basically its annoying to have to go to the crossing to get gear, and I think it would benefit traders to have more of a Global Market setup, especially with all the new craft-able stuff coming out.

I don't really care the reasoning, but I'm down for the global marketplace.
On the flip side, I suspect it is a no-go from the get-go, because the GMs want remote locations to be remote. This would also greatly replicate the sea caves from Prime (and TF, and Plat (TF has seacaves right? In addition to the arch)), which were closed/deactivated/whatever because people were abusing them for item transfers, etc. That is...pretty much what you're asking.
