does selling in increments cause the price to increase after each transaction, thereby decreasing your profits for the later transactions?
what i mean is, if i look at the Board, then sell/buy, then look at the Board again, my transaction is immediately updated, both in price and quantity.
do you see this too?

No matter how much you sell it will have zero effect on the price. Obviously buying and selling will have a effect on the quantity. Some price changes are random like diamonds and gold and such and even the smaller items over time. Most of the price flucations are due to the runners, and when a runner makes a call it starts a timer and the price will move a certain number times while the timer in in effect when the timer expires the price will return to normal or in lucky cases the price will crash and you buy oranges for 11 coppers a unit and sell em for 300 coppers a unit.
