Is there a way to say sell from a second or a third crate and not default to the first?

Lets say I have this:

50 diamonds 1665 Leth Deriel a woven bentwood crate
5 diamonds 1617 Arthe Dale a rough wooden crate
17 diamonds 1617 Arthe Dale a rough wooden crate

Now Lets say I want to sell Diamond crate 2 & 3 but not first one listed?

I see a opertunity to sell say 22 diamond commodities I payed 1617 for but I don't want to sell from my crate I got at 1665. Is there a way to do it? I can't seem to figure out how to choose a specefic crate. I seem to only sell from first crate on my list.

Also noted crate 2 and 3 both are same commodity and same price. Is there a way to combine them into one crate of say 23?

I beleive that you use the "PUSH" command, which rotates the order of the crates. I've never done this, but there must be a reason we can rotate crates. push the crate you want to sell first to the front of the list.

thanks. Yea with PULL I can rotate the crates around and thus put the one I want to sell from before the others.

Warehouse will combine them if you store them.

well I was doing it all by scratch for like a week but then I heard of this page

http://www.mytwokronars.com/trading.html

it verified lots I found but helped me still in figuring out more.

read the commodity stuff and handbook 1 & 2 and look at charts.

I had made myself a template I loved more than anything.
same font and size as my screen font. with a cut out window.
I when trading had it taped to bottom of template and flipped it up and onto screen. THe commidity prices filled the window I had in cutout. to the left I had low end prices and MY buying price range I found I liked, then to the right the high end prices.

With a quick scan and no looking at charts. I got a fast readout on it and saw were commodities layed and bought or sold.

I have not been trading last few weeks. Hell I never really need to, I have enough trading for like next 25+ circles... Working combat instead. alot more fun to.

Hey we should have the commod prices added into the xml code so we can have a tickertape window.

That webpage gives a very good start to the process, so I won't re-hash it.

But I'll try to add what I know.

To start with:

when you're a novice, check out both sides before you buy, all 3 pits are close enough

don't try and make a killing in one commodity, on one short run. It's far too easy for it to get ruined by anyone else. (or your own purchase, for that matter, which DOES affect pricing)

avoid selling to 'Good Stores', unless you know exactly how many you can sell

the best deals come from the buy side, NOT the sell side. It is amazingly easy to push down an inflated price. So look for underpriced commods to buy, rather than overpriced commods to sell. Occasionally, you WILL get trumped by the system, or by another trader. It's far better to warehouse underpriced commods that you can sell later at average, for a profit, then to have to sit on the commod, waiting for inflated prices to return

don't assume logic should dictate how the system works, just get to know it

generally speaking, keep your purchases low, and spread them around - the system 'knows' what you are doing, and makes adjustments, plus... you can easily mess up everybody else by unloading a bucketful of one commod

the warehouse is your friend- and not just for saving your ass... you can easily make money by not even being in the game! store underpriced commods, wait for them to go back up to normal levels, and sell...

lastly, and most unfortunately... the game itself won't help you make money. Usually, it'll help you lose it! You need to keep track of stuff, on paper, spreadsheets, whatever. If you don't like that kind of thing, then don't bother with commods.

that's all I can think of, off the top of my head
