Could it be possible to make the Pattern Hue Effect a permanent effect until changed by the character? I hate having to constantly repattern my hue.

Due to technical limitations, this isn't possible. The duration is actually very generous considering it lasted just a few minutes when it was first released.

Since the cantrip is replaceable, I suggest making a macro and tapping it every half hour or so.
