You know you should never cast an area effect spell in a crowded area where the travel traffic is heavy. Not only that but if you do hit someone with an erea effect spell, you should maybe say something to the effect of "hey I'm sorry about that". Not cast it twice more.
The three time you got me with Frostbite and I did have Ethereal Shield up, you gave me a skin rash/bleeder and almost killed me. Are you surprised that in digust I tried to do spit dragon breath on you? Your obviously so much higher than I am skill wise that it didn't effect you, so there was no reason to than go and track me down while I was getting healed and then do more damage to me.
You after all were way a head in the damage game, since I had/have not done a thing to you but get abused. Thanks for showing me snipes are still quite common in the realms though. Btw were you just that thick that you just had to attempt to attack everyone in that area just to hurt me? I mean seriously, what a classless act.
Ah well, again thanks I'll take my break now and come back in a few months when you've powered your way through that hunting area, though I tend to doubt you will since you probably do not actually learn anything there but maybe skinnning. Again my thanks for the refresher course in the lack of class that many have who walk the realms.

Yeah, not a smart idea to post THAT on the boards, especially with a GM watching. It's not exactly what you'd call a policy friendly move there and could get you into some serious trouble.

Yeah, not a smart idea to post THAT on the boards, especially with a GM watching. It's not exactly what you'd call a policy friendly move there and could get you into some serious trouble.

Nope, I won't even speculate. Having someone take care of such a snipe has always been an option of course. Though its an option I've never been fond of because its always a possible can of worms. I'd rather not involve those I consider friends, been playing SIMU's games far to long and seen the possible problems you can get friends dragged into by doing such things. It never weighs out in my opinion.
I would love if you all changed area effect spells to not effect other player characters though Chakram, though I know that's a pipe dream. I'll just take my break and not log in for a couple weeks to a few months as I tend to do when such things happen. A good reason to keep subscriptions open to more than one of SIMU's games, when your not having fun in one game go to the other one. :)

p.s: I miss the days when no one was over 20th though(just the Trailblazer in me) and you had a chance to deal with such snipes personally, now a days I've found 50th to 100th circle characters hunting in the same area's that I hunt in to learn. Talk about walking on egg shells because no matter what they do to you, your expected to grin, bow and say thank you may I have another? That leaves a bad taste in ones mouth as a player.

I don't have a good reputation to protect as Hikuro, so there's no use trying to justify my actions as being anything that they weren't. No, I don't belong in blood wolves. No, I wasn't training skinning, but rather backtraining weapons.
Yes, I was doing so (in the clearing) via the simple method of snapping min mana frostbite. I was not hiding, nor was I in a 'high traffic area' (insofar as one exists - blood wolves isn't large, but this is not a room that people are required to walk through).
I make no excuses for hitting you with frostbite, but nor do I apologize. Additionally, you should have realized by my blatant disregard for your well being (me continuing to cast FRB when you kept standing in my room) that walking in and and launching a DB spit at me was hardly a healthy thing to do. If the only thing that you learned from this experience was to walk away and avoid provoking someone who (apparently) has no problem bullying younger characters, then you should take that and run with it.
I do hope that should you eventually come back, you will avoid making such blatant tactical errors. If someone is "obviously so much higher than [you are] skill wise", you should consider carefully the ramifications of attacking them BEFORE you do so.

Navak's got a point. If you really want to take someone out, it's not that hard. The element of surprise, along with all sorts of readily available equipement, makes killing pretty much anyone a snap if you make the right preparations.
As for the branch... I do believe I saw that first hand the other day, now, didn't I?

I have no problems with a bounty on my head as long as A: I'm made aware of who posts the bounty (and its value), B: Anyone who wishes to collect informs me WHY they're attacking me before they do so, preferably giving me time to read what they just said before I get shot and killed, and C: You understand that I may decide to come visit you and remove one limb at a time until you call off the bounty.
Under policy, then, we would have a standing agreement between myself and whomever posted the bounty, as well as agreements generated on an individual basis between myself and any potential assassins. The individual agreements would end at one death of either individual (requiring further attempts to start from scratch and give fresh warning, so to speak), the standing agreement stays until the bounty is collected or the bounty is called off.
I don't think Chakram would possibly have ANY objection to something like that, right? It's okay as long as we all agree to it, yes?

I am pretty sure anything is ok as long as people agree and don't use Report. I always liked the idea of assassins and bounties. They should make an Assassins folder here or somewhere that allows OOC agreements to be made amongst players.
