::shamelessly rips off the moonie guild:: What if warmies could do some kind of perception of the elements the way moonies do of stars for their enchanting. Or maybe even made something to help them enchant. Lots of work and time going into working with one element or another. Maybe start with some kind of base item depending on the element(torch, rock, feather mirad of others) Mechanics for it could be to hold the item in right hand and repeatedly focus <element><ability> on <item> (Certain items can take specific mana/element) the mage's skill at enchanting or enchant-type skill would deterine amount of work to fully prepare the item for spell. Mage then casts whatever spell is needed to convert item to enchanting aid.
::you rummage through your silver and cambrinth enchanting case and see a heatless flame, a glowing stone, an air ball, an eatheral ball, a charged metal piece:: ect
There would have to be a quest or spell or something along those lines to make them, plus what ever skill needed (ie mech, enchanting, primary, harness ect...)
Focus on them to see what ability it would add to items and they could be set up to be sold to others and useable or warmie only use for enchanting weapons (Either way we make lots of money!)
I donno how it would be set up if we sold them, maybe add sockets (like spell books) to weapons/armor for them
Either way I think it could be kinda fun personally I'd like to sit in the barb guild and make them watch me beef up some weapons like this.
::Rigek breaks his pulls his flame apart and sets half to either side of the cross guard of his bastie. He queezes really hard and the flames slowly sink in. Rigek's bastie bursts into flames for a few seconds before extingushing, your not sure how but the weapon seems somewhat more dangerous::
Focusing on weapon (OR armor) later could get a line like,
This weapon appears to burst into flame on impact burning the vitcim
Anyway my two cents (please don't laugh)
