Stuck some shard messaging in Fire Shard too (fixing another bug report). You'll now see the a shard, two shard messaging if you get multiple shards.

Greetings,

The Fire Shard spell has been improved:

1. The base accuracy of the spell has been increased. Technically, the spell has gone from penalizing your TM skill to no penalty or bonus. This should result in better accuracy and more damage, though this will be more noticeable at high skill levels.

2. A single shard will now use standard TM calculations, rather than going through the pulse spell mechanics. This will cause single-shard casts to avoid the rather harsh penalty to accuracy that the pulse mechanics inflict. Obviously this will only be noticeable at low mana and/or low skill levels, when one shard is all that is created by the spell.

3. The damage bonus due to spell power has been increased greatly for single-shard casts, and increased somewhat for two-shard casts. More than two shards will use the existing damage bonus. This means that using more mana in one- or two-shard casts will cause more damage than before. These improvements will only be noticeable when one or two shards are generated by the spell.

The updates are now live in all instances.
