Hello everyone.

Not sure if anyone noticed, but the past few weeks I was rather scarce (i.e., nonexistent) on the boards and in the game. This friendly message is just to let everyone know that I'm back.

The main reason for my absence was that I was moving, from a smallish apartment to a rather nice house with enough space for me to set up my very own office in a separate room. In the process, switching over internet access took a week or so. Unfortunately, moving was bad for my modem, which decided to go kaput just when we were setting things up here at the new place. Tech support wasn't helpful at all, and we didn't actually find out that it was a problem with the modem until a week ago. To make a long story slightly shorter, we just got a nice new modem today, and I feel much better. :)

Although I didn't get much time (between my job and moving) to work on game stuff, I did manage to keep things moving forward as much as possible without an internet connection.

1) Pathway quests 5-8. Chakram and I have been discussing this. I've got a solid idea of what I'm going to do with them, as well as the resources I'll need to make them happen. I'm finishing up a proposal to send in and, when I'm allocated the required resources, will begin physically implementing the stuff I've written.

2) Syntax changes for AP quests 1-4. Apparently this got 'lost' in QC while I was away. I'm trying to get someone to look at it so the fixes can be released.

3) Other stuff. My magic training was temporarily stalled by my absence, but I'll be pushing forward on that now that I'm back. Not sure what's happening with familiars. The spell review is still on hold, though I've begun making out-of-game changes to some spells so that when I'm allowed to tinker with them, I can make the changes quickly and get them released that much sooner. There are a few other odds and ends I'm working on, but they're more 'behind the scenes' matters that won't affect you directly.

I'm just letting you know I'm still here, and that I haven't abandoned you or my responsibilities to the guild. :)
