Hey everyone,

As you may recall, I started a contest near the end of last year regarding the cantrip Pattern Hues. The cantrip will add special coloring to certain spells that you cast. The contest gave you a chance to come up with your own custom color that nobody else could have.

After coding the cantrip and working out the details of the colors that were chosen, it appears that nearly everyone who sent in an entry wanted a unique color. There were a couple of duplicates, and there are still some entries that are unclear, but for the most part I could work every color into the cantrip with some room to spare.

So what that means is that if you sent in an entry during the contest, you'll get a custom color. It may not be exactly the same color that you want due to in-game restrictions, but you'll get one.

These colors must also go through the approval process of the big GMs upstairs, so you may be asked to alter your chosen color even after I go through the list initially. This is just a heads up, but I suspect that most of the colors chosen are okay. I'll be getting in touch with those people who sent in entries I still need to clear up, either in-game or through e-mails.

As of this moment there is no hard release date for the new cantrips (including Pattern Hues), so I'm not in a terrible hurry to get the colors ironed out. I'll let you guys know as soon as the situation changes.
