Hey folks,

I managed to track down the annoying little bug where you would have to show non-WM's into the guild in Gauthus' office. You should now be able to do this in the proper room in the guildhall where the Elemental is. Let me know if there are any issues.

Just letting you know I've been digging into some old bugs and fixing them over the last few days. Mostly messaging stuff in this round, but I've got a few more serious fixes in QC.

- Fixed typo in Frost Scythe messaging.
- Corrected a couple messaging issues in the Electric Charge cantrip.
- Fixed a pair of typos in the AP 'skin' quests.
- Fixed typo in Lightning Bolt.
- Fixed typo in Gauthus's messaging.
- Corected a messaging issue in the Stone Seat cantrip.
- Fixed some messaging problems (as well as a behind-the-scenes bug) in Gar Zeng when the target is killed with remaining bolts left over.

On the horizon:

Ice Patch, in addition to receiving a fix to its 'deader cast' utility option, will have messaging fixed in multiple places. Additionally, if you break someone's leg with it, it will actually cause the victim to fall (gasp!). Finally, I located a problem in how it affects balance. In the current incarnation of the spell you can hurt the victim's balance more with an outright failure than with a marginal success. The balance hit for a marginally successful cast will be increased to just above the hit for a failure to remedy this.

Chain Lightning, in addition to having its first bolt actually hit what you cast at/targeted (regardless of ES status), will have its 'flash' messaging to other rooms fixed. Ditto for Lightning Bolt, since they both use the same (outdated) code.

I've located and squished the bug that was causing players to continue watching a room outside a Fortress of Ice even after the fortress melted. The fix is currently in QC since it is rather complicated.

Heyos,

I've fixed a few rather nasty bugs in how MR regenerates. Due to poor math and logic, at very high levels it was possible to suddenly find yourself with no MR at all after using a pathway. MR should be much more stable now.

Heyos,

I've released updated versions of Flashpoint and Burning Touch. The updates should be completely invisible -- the messaging and the function haven't changed. If you notice anything odd please let me know.

In addition, a fix to the Flashpoint cantrip should resolve a messaging issue (and a deeper technical issue) related to the treasure chest updates.

I've also fixed the issue with Gust of Wind blowing a created Aegis of Granite shield off your body.

Rimefang no longer allows you to play at magical sniper and will pull you out of hiding and invisibility any time it makes an attack.
