The following changes to Thunderclap are now live in Platinum and Prime:

1: Thunderclap no longer has a chance to stun the caster.
2: Guildleader messaging has been rewritten.
3: Casting the spell now invokes an RT.
4: It is now considered an offensive spell.
5: It now has the standard chance to provoke a sorcerous backfire when used by other guilds.

What a long, strange journey it has been.

Thunderclap is an old spell which has gone through a laundry list of major revisions. This has given the spell a unique texture, much like fine wine, or well tossed spaghetti, or the unreal architecture of R'yleh. Recently we did a few system updates that, in a properly ordered universe, would not have any noticeable effect on you. In our reality, it caused Thunderclap to start eating Concentration and, after that was fixed, stun the caster at anything beyond minimum-prep.

I have removed the offending bits of strangeness from the spell and added my own, hopefully more manageable bits of strangeness. Please let me know if anything else goes horribly, horribly wrong with the spell.
