From someone who's recently come back from a long break and starting fresh as a war mage I must say I absolutely love the new elemental weapons. As soon as the preview opened up to everyone I stored all my "mundane" weapons that I could replace and been having a blast immolating/freezing/electrocuting the hell out of everything I can.
