Was up most of the night playing and thinking.
And here is where my Imagination lead me!

Ethereal Blaze/Blacklark's Deception:
Requirements: Ethereal Fissure.
You must have a Fissure up in the room to use this.

Ethereal Blaze
Abbreviation: EB
Prerequisites: Ethereal Fissure
Casting Cap: ??????

Description: Still giving this a lot of thought. As to how i can link this to Blacklark himself.

Example messaging:

You Roll your hands in a counter Elliptical pattern

A spinning ball of black Aether appears with the patterns you Hands define.

A ball of black aether shoots into your nearby fissure! A ethereal fissure burst with a flash of energy!

focus fissure (range) pole

A river sprite suddenly spins into view, moving toward you in an inviting manner.

The river sprite begins to advance on you!
The river sprite is still a distance away from you and is closing steadily.

The river sprite closes to pole weapon range on you!

A blaze of Ethereal energy shoots outward towards a River sprite! The Ethereal blaze slams into its chest, the ethereal energy sears into its flesh. Bright streams of blood gush forth, soaking into the ground beneath it.
A river sprite screams and collapses, her dance stilled at last.
Roundtime: 1 second.

Notes: To cast this spell, you need an Ethereal Fissure in your room.
Number of shots is dependent on the size of the fissure!
Each shot weakens the fissure.

Its an interesting idea. This would be our only fifth tier spell (since it would require a fourth tier, Fissure).

Technically, I don't see why it wouldn't work. Practically, this spell seems a bit cumbersome due to the need to double cast. Tactically, a pulse based TM spell that is room located compares with Fire Rain, although potentially less lethal to compatriots.

I'd be interested to read your thoughts on working it into the lore, particularly with Blacklark.
