It was just a great spell. I loved the experience of creating this animated ball of lightning that I could order around and make attack things, or even send into adjacent rooms to attack things. It was one of the really unique spells in the Warmage arsenal.
So please bring it back!
Thanks for listening.

I remember during the Outcast War, that spell was one of the only things you could do to attack the formations within the city. Just walking into the room was instant death due to 10-12 things auto-shooting at computer light speed.
So, yeah bring it back please

Well, see, there's the linchpin of why everything you're saying is wrong. There's the fulcrum. There's the centerpiece. There's the turkey on the Thanksgiving table.

>Just to satisfy my curiosity, would you be happy with a Starlight Sphere reskin?
The general idea is the same. Been a while since I played with Ball Lightning, but there are some important flavor differences. Obviously, the nightime restriction would be gone, as that's a feature of lunar magic. Elemental magic is more chaotic, and Ball Lightning hit harder but engagement targets could not be chosen.
I'm not sure what place Ball Lightning in the spellbook, but I liked keeping it up for a trickle of TM experience while working weapons.
