Also aside from figuring out some of the more blatant ones (Extrapolation of patterns FTW) I really haven't been testing them that much - just compiling on Elanthipedia. Despite the massive number of people who seem to think I've been researching the heck out of them.

Except they are... why else do you lose mana for using them?

Yep- hold some mana and wave that wand- it will use the mana your holding.

Oh you're talking about taking held mana as opposed to just waving the wand taking your normal attunement.

Interesting. Not sure they should do that based on the lore of how they work.
