I have recently come back to DR and started training a warrior mage, and I am looking for tips on training, PM/Harness mostlly.

I struggled with the first 50 or so ranks in PM/har. I'm told GZ or bolt spam will work pm/har/tm well.
I used a fan to get about 50 in MD, and by that time was sitting around 50 in all magics (PP was up around 100), and started using an armband and ES. Just prep es, charge 11, focus, cast. I throw in some foraging and app in there as timers, and just keep it chugging for a while.
Around 60 or 70 I got rimefang, and just cast it in combat at min mana ever 60 seconds or so. Nice passive TM learning, and keeps pm/har kicking along really well. Not going to be super killer, but I only used it for magic training. Lately I've swapped SUF for rime, just because I found the buff better and it works magics the same.
