SD adjustment on 10/30/2009 02:20 PM CDT

It would be great if we could focus or change our SD to go off when attacked by someone. If it needs balance, metal items only, and ranged attacks cause it to go off, regardless if someone is in melee or not.

Didn't we have a spell proposa like that once? Windstrider's Web?

SD is a great spell as it is. I'd rather not see it turn into a WM halo. We have plenty of other spells that need some bandages on them. Another way to defend ourselves isn't one of them.
