From what I heard, two people were killed by Yhaman in the Desert, he was then guarding their bodies, when a rescue party went to try to save them.... ummm that happened.... I THINK it was CL but I still haven't heard much about what happened...

As for attempted block messages, chain lighting does not give any attempted block message, period. Either you dodge it, or you didn't. If you didn't dodge it, your shield can reduce the damage to a 'grazing' strike, at which point you will take no wounds, no vitality damage, but some nerve damage.
