Hello everyone!

This is an invitation (read:plea) to all members of all Orders, sanctioned and non-sanctioned.

I am going to write what I hope will become a regular column in the Hentaraen. I have already submitted the idea to Olarra and received an okay on it.

Here's the basic concept, with some room for improvement after a trial and error period.

This will be an article about fun little tidbits of news from any and all Orders, sanctioned and non-sanctioned. The main purpose is to make people more aware of who is who in the Orders, to give back to our members in the form of a bit of fun noteriety, putting a positive public light on the Orders in general, and of course, fun! This isn't intended to be a forum for sharing major event news, announcing scheduled Order events, or passing along negative rumors or information. The real purpose is to recognize good RP, pass along silly/fun little tidbits, and just make the public more aware of the Orders and their members individually.

How to do that? Well, you are all invited to send me little bits of news like the FABRICATED examples below:

*Redarch Vonbremen of the Stone Clan Militia was injured recently after losing his grip on his cane while climbing the Stony Trail. We wish him a swift recovery!

*Serienna Alypsen and Ythik Formalian of the Fyearikloa Rensh'a were spotted recently marching through the streets of Shard, each of them waving a large staff with a parchment attached bearing the words, "Kirew must dance!" What was that all about!?

*Word from Lord Blackmoore's court is that the distinguished Lord Blackmoore himself was seen wearing a Captain's hat and standing on the deck of the Lyba Telo in far northern parts of the lands, a spear in hand as he leaned over the starboard side staring into the waters of Lake Gwenalion. Ever the brave hero, could he be hunting the long fabled monster of the Lake?

So...those are some silly examples, but you get the general idea. Fun stuff. RP interesting, IC please, and it doesn't even have to be major events. Just something that stood out as entertaining. Any courtships, wedding news, gossip (again, I stress FUN), or silly stuff is welcome.

There are just a few rules I want to follow:
1. Nothing negative or mean-spirited.
2. If you are sending information on anyone other than your own character, please use proper etiquette and just ask for an okay from any other characters involved first.
3. According to Olarra's deadlines, I'd like to get little bits of stuff all through each month. I'll keep track of it all. Anything I receive after about the 24th of each month will end up in the following months column.
4. I'd like to try and keep as much of this as possible IC, but I realize that some people are spread all over the realms, so....you can send me an email at AthianaOWR@aol.com or AIM @ AthianaOWR. Please please please include first and last names and Order affiliations for anyone mentioned!

That should cover everything. If anybody has any suggestions or ideas on embellishing this concept, feel free to give me a shout anytime.

I'm shooting to get the first article out with the next edition of the Hentaraen. Still figuring out the whole deadlines thing, and we certainly don't want to cause Olarra to pull her hair out! Keep your eye on the newstand - you could just find your own name there!
