Hello, I'm new to DR an I have been looking througth the boards and i'm curious. are there any guilds/clan/family around that take in Newbies? Like i said i'm new and i have many questions, however sometimes i can't find people who will take time to answer me or some who do only give me half answers. so are the any orgainization that welcome new players or help new plays?

Well, if your in Riverhaven I'd be happy to help you in any way I can. Answering questions, and showing ya different things if that's what ya need. And if there's something I can't help you with I am sure I can get the answers for ya easy enough.

Guilds: You should research which guild you want to be before you join one, then stick with that one (you lose all your experience if you quit and join another guild).
Clans: There are several offical and unoffical organizations and clans, some depend on what race or guild you are. There are resources on these boards to read about them and ask questions.
Family: If you are Rakash, welcome to the pack. If you're not, families can also be found on the boards... but perhaps it's best to find people you like, etc. in game.

If you are in Crossing, you can go to Jadewater Mansion and ring the bell. To find it type DIR JADEWATER and follow the directions.
There are alot of people out there with answers that are willing to help, don't get upset with those that don't have time or can't offer help.
