I'm interested in role-playing my ranger as a member of the Shadow Clan in Ilithi, a group of rangers and rogue paladins. I know they are the guardians of Corik's Wall and the main garrison preventing the Dark Hand from flowing over into greater Ilithi.
Does anyone have more information? I'm trying to make sure I have a complete picture of what is and is not known about the Shadow Clan before I flesh out my ideas for my ranger.
Also in-game, you can find my ranger hunting snowbeasts in lower leth deriel, or pawning his pelts and practicing survivals in Ilithi. I'll leave it to you to find him if you so desire, he's usually around.

There is a book about the Shadow Clan in Shard. Many years ago I in fact went searching for them- I believe around the time of the Gorbesh war.
The clan is made up of 'rogue' paladins and rangers- meaning paladins who, while they might be honorable, don't necessarily hold to the same code that you see printed in the Crossing guildhall. Racially, they are mostly humans and perhaps elves. They tend to be gruff, unforgiving people. I seem to remember hearing that they helped to drive the Dragon Priests out of Shard a long time ago.

Thank you, Ryeka. The information you have given appears to be all that exists, a paragraph in "Shard History", by Silvyrlock. It's much appreciated.
<<During Alec's time, he confirmed and supported a group of Humans who moved to his region, a mixture of Rangers and rogue Paladins who named themselves "Shadow Clan". Gruff and unforgiving, the clan is the only thing that keeps at bay the Dark Hand and the horrors it contains.
Any Rangers and Paladins ready to cast aside their temporary pastime and reclaim their brotherhood with the Shadow Clan and birthright to slaughter the forces of the Dark Hand are urged to do so with haste!
I have purchased an apt symbol declaring my brotherhood with the men and women of the Shadow Clan, a jade wolverine amulet. I'd encourage others who wish to roleplay members of the Shadow Clan to do likewise, so we may have a way of recognizing our brothers in arms.
