Some Gnome bards are forming a Performing Troupe, and we were trying to find out how to get it approved by the gods. We don't want to make it an order, since we don't yet have enough members to meet to requirements, but when we were reading the books on orders we noticed that the locksmiths union wasn't listed.
We figured that they weren't officially an order, but we noticed also that they had the post titles and the badges (gleaming animate keys). So we were wondering if there was any way to do something like that without becoming an official order?
Thanks,
~Little Bard

Greetings Little Bard,
To become an Official Organization is a long and arduous tasks and those that have achieved that status should be highly praised for their hard work and diligence.
Most folks who want to start an organization begin here since this is the Unofficial folder where new organizations can get their feet wet while working toward Official status.
However, there are some restrictions:
It must be valid group formed to enhance the game for all players. That doesn't mean it can't be a restricted organization; such as, Gnomes, Elves, Humans, etc. But it must overall improve the game and roleplaying for everyone.
Once your organization has been formed, you'll need to send me a request for a folder and indicate the organization's plans, goals, and reason for exisitng.
If a folder is granted, your organization must have at least one valid post per month pertaining to the organization, not OCC discussions.
The folder is in no way to be used as a conflict folder. If that happens, it will be shredded and used a liner for my troll cage.
I wish you luck on starting your new organization. It is alway nice to see players take an interest in our little world and want to help make it a better place.
I hope this informaiton has been helpful.

Did you say Gnomes! Well, yee need not look any further than G.N.O.M.E. We are a group, of gnomes, by gnomes and for gnomes. We routinely host parties and have regularly scheduled meetings for discussing various topics pertaining to gnomes in general. I strongly encourage any gnome to come by for one of our regular meetings, speak "eye-to-eye" with your fellow gnomes and be a part of our tight knit community. Regular meetings are every tuesday 6:15 pm pacific time half pint inn, through the high door.
