The attacks from Drangell's trolls have been raging on and off for over a week, with many causalities on both sides. While the tide of monsters and siege engines seems endless, there have been many victories for the people of Wehnimer's Landing in the last week as well.

Two of Drangell's generals have been reported to be killed. The first was during a raid by local heroes and citizens at the cemetery along the Coastal Cliffs. Numerous red cocoons were located along with a horde of shadow troll wraiths. The cocoons were destroyed and when a shadow troll general appeared, he was eventually dispatched.

The second general's defeat came last evening, when the Tehir Mitokht and his desert wolf led the heroes to a recently discovered trail upon the peaks of Thanatoph. The trail led up to a griffin hatchery, where trolls had been breeding more griffins for their attacks. Nearly a dozen nests of griffin eggs were smashed and while a blue-grey troll general appeared and killed many, he too was eventually stopped.

Even Drangell himself was spotted in town a few nights ago, where he was killed a number of times by local defenders, who then learned such attacks seemed to only be making him stronger. The troll commander's waraxe was disarmed and his body dragged off by his trolls, presumably to heal once more.

The morale of some citizens has recently improved, as the latest triumphs over the enemy has removed the threat of shadow trolls appearing in the town, and created an absence of griffins dropping boulders and snatching up women.

Mayor Walkar was approached for comment but had little time to make a statement, as the town gates were stormed again by waves of trolls. The Mayor was seen running towards the gates with allies to fight the army rushing in.

OOC Note:

Because of the success of players last night, the griffin events in and around town are now gone! No more griffin's dropping boulders and snatching up women. In addition, the shadow troll events were removed last week when they were defeated as well.

However, the griffins are still dropping in Trollfang to be hunted, and will remain for the time being. If you see where I might have missed something, let me know!
