As your foot connects with the black kettle, it tips over, splashing the boiling liquid onto your leg!
... 10 points of damage!
Burst of flames to left leg burns skin bright red.
A boiling mass of liquid moves outward from a small black kettle.
You are buffeted by the billowing clouds of steam arising from the boiling mass, and knocked to the ground.
You are pinned in place, unable to move.
Roundtime: 20 sec.
... 55 points of damage!
Your back is cooked to tender perfection. White meat or dark?
You exhale the last of a virulent green mist.
You notice your blood flow go back to normal.
You lose your extra internal fortitude.
Your SIGN OF DEFLECTION is no longer effective.
A dark shadow seems to detach itself from your body, swiftly dissipating into the air.
Your body pulses momentarily into semi transparency and then returns to normal.
The tingling sensation and sense of security leaves you.
You feel less confident than before.
The brilliant luminescence fades from around you.
The bright luminescence fades from around you.
The silvery luminescence fades from around you.
The very powerful look leaves you.
The white light leaves you.
The dull golden nimbus fades from around you.
The misty halo fades from you.
Your SIGN OF SMITING is no longer effective.
The deep blue glow leaves you.
You feel your extra strength departing.
The powerful look leaves you.
The air calms down around you.
The light blue glow leaves you.
Your SIGN OF WARDING is no longer effective.
You return to normal color.
You no longer feel so dextrous.
Your SIGN OF DEFENDING is no longer effective.

It seems you have died, my friend. Although you cannot do anything, you are keenly aware of what is going on around you...

You mentally give a sigh of relief as you remember that the Goddess Lorminstra owes you a favor.

...departing in 10 mins...

Seems a bit excessive for what always gives a level 1 leg wound...did this change at some point cause this has never happened to me before and KICK every one I find...

I always just stayed out of the same room as them. Why risk it?

The closer they are to blowing, the more damage they do when KICKed. Looks like you had a run of good luck before wandering across one that had been sitting in a room for a while and was ready to blow.

Unless you saw the hag drop the kettle, LOOK at them before you KICK them. The harder it's boiling, the closer it is to blowing and the more likely you'll have this kind of result when kicking it. Fresh ones will just injure your leg, but those ready to blow can have the result you experienced here (I dunno if it's guaranteed to happen when they're beyond a certain point, but the chance is def greater then 50/50)

Starchitin, the OG

A severed gnomish hand crawls in on its fingertips and makes a rude gesture before quickly decaying and rotting into dust. A gust of wind quickly scatters the dust.
