Sitting at her desk, an elegant elven woman leans back and places a tea cup down. Picking up a small parchment, she takes a moment to read the contents, her lips moving silently as she ponders each word. Quickly penning a short note, she sends it off with a small squire. She continues to focus on the parchment until she is joined by another.

“Lord Aeriadrn. Did you read this missive about a strange beast?” she questions.

“Yes Argent Mirror, the people of Icemule Trace are clearly worried about their safety and possibly the safety of other cities as well.”

“The people of the frozen city do not normally request such help, very well, we will see what this is about. Please tell Lady Sayilla to come as soon as she can.”

The man turns to leave before he is stopped.

"Oh,and Lord Aeriadrn, please send out a notice that anyone interested should travel there. There is apparently an expedition planned for this evening.

“Yes Mirror,” he says, bowing as he takes his leave from the room.

Picking up her tea cup, she takes a sip and continues to study the letter.
