Hey all,

A new COMBAT verb is available which will calculate various combat statistics for you. Leave the roltons alone, and use COMBAT instead!

It should NOT be that tough. The system literally does this THOUSANDS of times per minute, on an ad hoc basis, including possibly different results in the same command (my Monk sees the DragonClaw cutting through with <this> attack in the MStrike, but not <those>).

You could actually do it as an attack (ranged, melee, bolt) or cast (in each Realm), with all incoming/offensive data set to "zero". How difficult is it to make a NoStat/NoSkill monkey?

Melee:
Evade: 101 DS, 50% avoidance
Parry: 50 DS, 0% avoidance
Total: 251 DS, 50% avoidance

Spell:
Evade: 152 DS, 25% avoidance
Parry: 50 DS, 0% avoidance
Total: 337 DS, 25% avoidance

Ranged:
Evade: 152 DS, 25% avoidance
Parry: 50 DS, 0% avoidance
Total: 302 DS, 25% avoidance

Unarmed Defense Factor (UDF): 331

Standard Maneuver Roll (SMR): 5% chance to be hit

Note: SMR numbers can vary depending on the level of the attacker, the type of maneuver being used, and various other factors. These numbers should be used as a baseline comparison only.

Target Defense (TD) and Cast vs. Armor (CvA):
Generic = TD: +128 - CvA: -21 == 149

Elemental = TD: +184 - CvA: -21 == 205
Spiritual = TD: +169 - CvA: -21 == 190
Mental = TD: +164 - CvA: -21 == 185

Ele/Spr = TD: +177 - CvA: -21 == 198
Men/Spr = TD: +168 - CvA: -21 == 189
Men/Ele = TD: +162 - CvA: -21 == 183

Poison = TD: +128 - CvA: -21 == 149
Disease = TD: +128 - CvA: -21 == 149

Note: the final value listed above is your effective TD, which is calculated using your TD and CvA.

An excellent tool when trying to decide what to hunt. Thought it was broken when I first checked my DS.... then I pulled out my runestaff to check again. Excellent that it takes whatever gear you're holding/wearing into account, will save me from having to swap things to my bard every time I wanna double-check what enchant things are.

Hhhhmmm seems that my sorcerer's CvA goes down when I pull out my Globus Elanthias, but not when I pull out my Gem-eater... are things working as intended?

Something's off with how it's calculating bolt AS:

The roaring ball of fire strikes a rolton, blossoming into a much larger sphere of flame upon impact.
Cast Roundtime 3 Seconds.


I think it's adding in my runestaff's enchant (it's +30).... when I put it away and check again it shows the correct number.
