Everyone congratulate Katrionna for her winning ornament design. It will go on to compete against all of the other House’s ornament winner. You can view the ornament on our new tree (details on tree below), or you can read here, or you can also see it when we hang the big tree later this month.

Prettily tied with a ribbon of scarlet silk, the fragrant golden flowers with their leaves still fresh and green, are suspended from a dainty hook of green mithril shaped like a pair of cupped hands. A tiny golden bell engraved with runes of peace and health and the numbers 5115 is bound to the stems.


Current events:

1. Cursed Cloves: This Friday the 11th at 7:30pm. Event is in Icemule at the stucco well (the picker’s well). This is a game of chance that involves eating candy and winning prizes. Who doesn’t like that?!?!?
2. Possible Got Chrisms? event next month. Time and date not yet determined.

Renovation:

1. We have our own solstice tree! The tree is in the House courtyard and holds a bunch of our designed ornaments. It will stay up for the holiday season and will come back every year. We will add more ornaments every year based on our annual ornament design contest participation. You can TOUCH, SMELL, ATTEND, and PULL the tree to interact with it.

2. Looking orbs will be requested at end of month. These orbs will be placed in the Teras, Illistim, and River’s Rest annex common rooms (the rooms right outside the locker area but inside the designated House Sovyn area). These will allow members to view what is going on in the House library. This will be useful for viewing meetings and other lecture events that go on in the library.
