Mayor Walkar is proud to announce that a few minor renovations have now been completed to the bathhouse, after its last proprietor, an evil summoner, was run out of town and eventually killed.

The door to Grishom's office has been left open, and many new visitors have said the very shadows can carry someone to a dark area beneath the bathhouse. The mayor strongly suggests avoiding the old workshop of Lord Stone.

There is now a new Private Suite, available to all visitors through the gold arch in the Nexus room. The new suite is now home to all of the private baths and a steam room.

In addition, a couple new drinks have found there way onto the bar in the Hearth room.

When the mayor was asked why the changes took place, he replied, "It's been over a month now since our brave heroes ended the threat of Grishom Stone. But it's important we not let his wickedness taint our bathhouse and the business it can bring the town. This is one more step toward erasing the darkness that was Grishom."

OOC Note:

Based on some input from players, a few tweaks have been made to the bathhouse.

First, in the Nexus room, the new private suite is available through the gold arch. It houses the old private baths, which are still latchable but automatically strips you down into a towel!

Secondly, if you go into Grishom's office and GO into the shadows, you'll find yourself in an underground area. Some of the items have a few available actions in the room. If you check out the TOME, you'll see you can interact via Clean, Get, Pray, Rub, Pull and Smell. Or if you check out the scrying pool, you can interact via Peer, Push, Rub, and Stare.

The baths are still currently closed in PLAT. Once the storyline is concluded there, it'll re-open!
