The idea is for professions to find congruence with their equipment to boost their power and identity to the character. So a typical lucky find enhancive may be a +5 S/H ranks, +2 Ambush ranks and +5 Dexterity. If this same weapon or armor, trinket is being used by a Rogue-- then the enhancive value increases dramatically. This may drain the charges faster and also some items could only actually work at all for any bonus to be produced when they are worn by the specific profession they were designed to function with. In the latter case, a more concentrated impact for the bonuses would be ideal.

I suggested a while ago that there should be more Enhancives that are restricted in more ways, beyond just level.
Gender, profession, society (to include "not a member of a society", and even possibly "require that you are a FORMER member of any particular society"), race, these are all existing options.
And there are some items that are gated by existing skills, like "you must have at least 50 ranks of Two-Weapon" (or was it Two-Handed weapon?) for those bracers or armguards or whatever.
Some are even already used in various places (like "short peoples' armor" or "feminine armor"), just not terribly much for Enhancive items. There are also some of the racial weapons, like "sighted bow for everyone, or really sighted bow for RaceX."
More things with multiple different bonuses to access would be good. What if Armor X enhanced by +10 "these two things" if you were a male Council halfling Sorcerer, but "those two things" if you were a female Sunfist forest gnome Monk?
.
Can "blessed" be done as an Enhancive? (I know that many items--including headbands, which I always find amusing--are routinely found as "blessed in the hands of a Cleric or Paladin", which means it's a sanctified item and those classes can hit undead with it.) But I'm talking about... somebody who is NOT a Cleric or Paladin. But here you go, male half-Krolvin Sunfist Ranger: one [enhancive] Blessed battleaxe; while it has Enhancive charges, it is Blessed. Go crazy.
Weighting (maybe for everyone), now with More Weighting as you approach more closely to the ideal design for the weapon. (Comes with +3 CER crit weighting base, and is designed for Female | Dwarf | Council | Cleric, +2 per step. If you are a male human Sunfist bard, you get the +3 base, but if you are Krakii you get the full +11 [3 base +2 for each of four matches].)
You could get even sexier with this if you have antithetical bias, so someone who is Voln may get -1 instead, Sunfist gets +0, and "no society" gets +2 of the possible.
Or "it is designed for Warrior [Weapons Realm]" (so Warriors specifically get the full +3, but all other squares get +2), a Semi will get +1, and a Pure spellcaster gets +0.
