Hello:

Is there going to be any updates to Avalon or a new game connection for Mac that is similar to Stormfront? The point and click aspect could be really helpful or Mac users. I understand that I can use the default web client, but I am I able to use that and Lich? Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I can't speak to the FE development for SIMU. But this question I can answer: No, not yet. When Lich was designed, using the Web Client was simply never considered. It's something on my radar to check feasibility for those few users that need public system capabilities and so on, but I haven't looked at it yet.

When I got my Mac, Doug helped me set up the Mac Client, Avalon, with Lich. But Avalon was not to my liking at all, so I went to Wine emulating Windows and ran SF under it. Which Lich worked perfectly with, too.

I know there are folks who do play with Avalon for their FE, it is already a vast improvement over the web interface.

But StormFront, as old as it is, is still the standard by which most FEs are going to have to measure up.

Thank you both for your responses. I ended up using parallels to run storm front. I don't know why I didn't think of it earlier.
