Apologies before hand if this has been suggested before. Would it be possible to include in the Simu Store something that would let you, for a price, change a character bound item from a character on an account to another character on the same account? Might need GM assistance for that but it would be great. Since it's to another character on the same account it would hopefully preclude arguments about exclusivity and proliferation. The other great thing would be that it would keep a lot of things from ending up sitting in lockers of sadness for months and years.

I like this suggestion. Or, as an alternative, changing an item from character-attuned to account-attuned.

This was asked on Discord as well.

Attunement is coded several different ways. There is generic attunement, which prevents GET, WEAR, or using it (like a warrior bond or an experience orb). That stuff is easier for us to change between character and account.

After that, every single scripted items is pretty much coded differently. Typically if an item supports character attunement, it doesn't support account attunement. So not a whole lot we can do on this front in its current form.

Yugh. I was afraid of that. Figured I had to ask though. Thanks for the response. Obviously I know nothing about coding GS scripts but...instead of changing attunement from character to account...would it be easier to just delete the attunement? I'm not even sure of the rationale of having attunement anymore since a lot of it is on fluff items and not really impactful on the game. So...if the item is, say, purely fluff could that be de-attuned? I'm thinking probably not as the same sort of thing about coding would apply. Hmmm...is there a way to get the game to ignore attunes? Just thinking out loud here.
