It can be confusing who is raising whom. Seeing a soul link is helpful and a great boon to the equation, but often there is discussion beforehand between Clerics, the corpse, etc. If an adventurer has the choice to DESIGNATE CLERIC/NAME then it would be established from looking, appraising, it could be visible to everyone in the room, etc.
